YeuX

Psychedelic spiced space-funk rock, YeuX (pronounced ‘Zyeu(r)’) is a new outfit from Budapest, Hungary. Since the band’s live debut in May 2022, the band has already hit the Budapest music scene supporting international acts including: Dirty Sound Magnet (Switzerland), VR SEX (USA), Tortuga (PL), The Ballet Bombs (NL), Khan (AUS) and played venues such as A38, Robot, Turbina, Három Holló, RIFF and others. The dynamic band features an array of Hungarian and International musicians including Lancelot Chartier (The Serial Chillers, Tibi and The Otters), Tibor Gede (AlithiA/AUS, Dennie Wander/UK), Zoltán Semegi (Náiv with Kiss Endre, brother of Kiss Tibi from Quimby) and Zsófia Kovács (Arif Erdem Ocak Project). Having spent the past 12 months in the rehearsal room writing new material, YeuX have recently recorded their debut album with producer Weil András (The Qualitons, Odd ID, Ivan and the Parazol, Kistehén) in a remote location in the Mátra mountains of Northern Hungary surrounded by forestry and mountain views. Geared with a new album due for release in the first half of 2023, set your ears and booty for the vibrations of YeuX’s Blade Runner-esque synthersizers, swirling psychedelic, funky guitars and progressive rock.

Meowlau x Val

Meowlau X Val, a dynamic drumnbass&pop duo, burst onto the Slovak music scene in 2022 with their debut EP "Nevermind," garnering attention from festivals and audiences. In 2023, their follow-up EP "Daydream" led to a standout performance at Pohoda festival for 6,000 attendees. The duo, Meowlau (Laura Jašková) and Val (Valentina Vlková), backed by drummer Vladoš Paška, create immersive atmospheres with energetic beats and English lyrics and in 2022 they’ve been recognized for their contribution to promoting gender equality in music as Ambassadors of Spotify EQUAL. The band has graced the stages of some of the country’s most iconic festivals, including Grape Festival and Pohoda Festival, where their performances have left a lasting impact. By 2024, they gained recognition at Eurosonic festival, earned three Radio Head_Awards (Radio FM music awards ceremony) nominations, expanded their reach beyond Slovakia, performing at internationally renowned festivals such as Colours of Ostrava and Pop Messe, and embarked on their first Czechoslovak tour promoting "Daydream," solidifying their fan base across both countries.

Granturismo is a tool that helps bookers connect to band representatives. It's a great networking option in a kind of speed meeting form. We invite bookers/promoters/Festival reps who will be able to meet with 10 pre-selected band reps for a few minutes each in a speed-meeting style.

Cheap Tobacco

Cheap Tobacco - It’s hard to put any label on them. They found a perfect connection between vintage and modern sounds. For some they play rock, for others pop or indie music. Regardless of the name – it’s music on the highest level with fire, a kick and a vibrant, magnetic and earthy female voice. Their singer has been hailed as the best female blues voice in Poland (four times over!) and nominated for “Rock Singer of the year by ANTYRADIO. As a band they have been nominated for the most important music award in Poland - Fryderyk - for "Album of the Year". They have won 15 Grand Prix and Audience Awards. Their New Album was at OLIS (list of best selling albums in Poland). So far they have played over 700 concerts in Poland and abroad. They have released 3 albums. They played at Sziget Festival (HUNGARY), Pol'and'Rock Festival (Poland), Canadian Music Week (Canada, Toronto), Future Echoes (Sweden) Bochum Total (Germany), V4 Festival (Hungary), Męskie Granie (Poland).

USO 9001

USO 9001 is a trio - Jan Pieniążek (drums), Jan Gałosz (guitar), Miłosz Pieczonka (saxophone). The band’s name stands for Unidentified Sonoristic Object 9001, a wordplay on ISO9001 - an international quality management standard. New Fossils

New Fossils emerges as a fresh force in Budapest's dynamic jazz landscape, blending youthful energy with seasoned expertise. Anchored by drummer Dániel Ferenc Szabó and bassist Marcell Gyányi, the band represents a convergence of top-tier talent from diverse musical backgrounds. Their journey to prominence includes opening for Alfa Mist, winning Best Alternative Album of the Year for their debut album recognized by local media, and collaborating with Norwegian ECM artist Mathias Eick. These milestones underscore their commitment to pushing boundaries and forging new sonic frontiers, solidifying their status as trailblazers in the local jazz community. In keeping with their grassroots approach, New Fossils proudly embodies a DIY attitude, exemplified by the establishment of their own label, 'Morotva Records'. This commitment to independence underscores their humility and determination to carve out a unique path in the global jazz scene.

Erika Rein + Isobutane

Erika Rein is a Slovak R&B and pop singer. She has several singles and has worked with names such as Dame, Yael or 7krát3, you can also know her from the tribute project 0u0us. Her debut album moves her away from standard mainstream to new waters where pop meets experiments. For her debut album, the Slovak singer Erika Rein has teamed up with the producer Jonatan Pastirčák (Isama Zing, Pjoni). Kamibe brings thirteen songs in three languages – English, Roma and Slovak – and combines experimentation with global pop, soul or R&B.

Kitty Florentine

The enchanting ethereal Estonian fairy of the arts, Kitty Florentine, channels her boundless creativity through a kaleidoscope of expressive forms. With an uncanny ability to craft cinematic, atmospheric soundscapes and evoke deep emotions through her music, she is truly a force to be reckoned with. When you step into Kitty Florentine’s realm, prepare for a whirlwind of experiences – from euphoric dance-floor moments to soul-stirring dramatics, heartfelt tears, and captivating antics. Kitty has captivated international audiences with standout performances, including a sold-out show at Performa Biennal 2023 in New York alongside Kris Lemsalu. She also took the stage twice at Eurosonic 2024, Europe’s largest showcase festival and made a memorable appearance at the iconic MENT Ljubljana 2024. Her performance at SZIGET 2024 alongside some of the biggest names in the music industry, marked yet another significant step in her growing global presence. She has supported renowned acts like Hatari (IS) and Fever Ray (SW) and performed in cities like Milan at Santeria, Prague Liveurope Festival, Øyafestivalen in Oslo, and What’s Next in Music in Vilnius. In addition to her global performances, she has played at some of the most prominent Estonian festivals, including Intsikurmu, Station Narva, and Tallinn Music Week. Kitty was honored with the Raadio 2 Debut Artist of the Year award, and her album was nominated for Indie/Alternative Album of the Year at the Estonian Music Awards 2023.

SPELLL

The Budapest-based band SPELLL was founded in the spring of 2024. Their music is energetic and catchy, perfectly contrasted by their predominantly dark lyrics. The girl-fronted, loud band made it their mission to bring ironic, sarcastic alternative rock back into fashion. The influence of California punk of the 2010s can be felt in their music, from Blink-182 to Together Pangea.

Hocuspony

Hocuspony is a Budapest based band of musicians who have been active members of the local underground rock scene: Niccolo Cina (vocals, guitar), Adam Nyoger (drums, vocals), Tomi Boronte (guitar, vocals) and Feco Mutter (bass, vocals). Their music is strongly vocal focused rock with heavy guitar riffs. They are refreshing in the region, because they have psychedelic, garage inspired songs merging on the border of magic and mysticism. They perform with 4 voices and Hungarian lyrics. Hocuspony has been invited to numerous local festivals. They performed on Fishing on Orfű, Fekete Zaj,Kolorádó, Bànkitó, Ördögkatlan Fesztivál, Művészetek Völgye, HellVill and Ubik Eklektik. They fired up the stage as supporting artists for Carson Coma, Bohemian Betyars, Fran Palermo, Ivan and the Parazol, a Middlemist Red és a Run over Dogs.

Santabarbara

Santabarbara is the latest project by Szczepan, Łukasz and Nikodem Pospieszalski, members of a multi-generational musical family that is well-known in Poland. Before the pandemic, the band performed at some of the most notable festivals in the Poland. This includes the Spring Break festival, where their performance was recognized by famous Gazeta Wyborcza as one of the 10 most interesting concerts of the festival, as well as appearances at AlterFest in Mysłowice, Tchnienia in Baligród, and on the main stage of the OFF Festival in Katowice. On May 9, 2024, the band's debut album released under their own label, with distribution managed by the international label PIAS, which brings together independent creators.

Ana Lua Caiano

Ana Lua Caiano explores musical fusion through the mix of traditional Portuguese music with electronic music and sounds from the "daily life". Through the creation of melodies that refer to the Portuguese musical tradition - using choirs, harmonies and canons - and through their union with synthesizers, beat-machines and sounds taken from everyday life, the artist's music brings the heritage of traditional Portuguese music to the modern, electronic and technological world. At Stage, Ana Lua Caiano, performs in the format of “one woman show”. With a synthesizer, a loop station, a microphone, a bass drum and various percussive instruments, Ana Lua Caiano, alone on stage and live, combines electronic music with traditional Portuguese music and the “everyday sounds” through loop overlapping. The EP, Cheguei Tarde A Ontem, released in 2022, was considered one of the best 2022 Portuguese discs by several Portuguese press such as Antena 3, SBSR and Blitz. The second EP, Se Dançar É Só Depois, was released in 2023 and has already been presented in more than 30 stages, including in South Korea, Spain and Czechia. Ana Lua Caiano is going to be in several international festivals, in Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, in the next few months.

I Love You Honey Bunny

I Love You Honey Bunny is an indie-pop-rock band from Prague, Czech Republic. Some people fancy their live sound and cheeky stage presence, others enjoy their approach to songwriting, which often reflects contemporary social and political issues. If you're drawn to striking melodies and high energy, I Love You Honey Bunny is the perfect choice for you. They have already performed over 400 shows, successfully touring across Europe and Canada, as well as major festivals like Sziget, Rock For People, and Colours of Ostrava. They have also opened for bands such as Alt-J, The Temper Trap, De Staat, Rare Americans, Bilderbuch, and Leoniden throughout their career.

Musica Moralia

musica moralia’s (Eda Meggyeshazi) music bears a distinct atmosphere; a creation in the experimental, post-folk sphere. In her own words she plays silent noise, sometimes on the dulcimer, sometimes on the piano. She started composing on a two-stringed guitar and on the piano, then later on moved on to the cello, in the meantime she feels unexplainably drawn towards 80’s analogue syths. She has been in the music scene for more than ten years in Hungary, often in Germany or the Netherlands. In 2012 she self-released her first EP, entitled Tooth and Teeth. In 2016 Normafa Records launched her debut LP with the title hell is Coming Home which is an intimate and highly personal album consisting of song written and performed on the dulcimer, piano, and electric-organ. At the moment musica moralia is working on her second LP, her live performances are complemented with a band, alongside Éda Meggyesházi (dulcimer, organ, voice), Adam Czitrom (bass), Peter Jakab (guitar, organ) and Márton Király (drums) will contribute. Since 2016 musica moralia is signed with Klinik Label.

Hundred Sins

Hundred Sins is the mysterious producer and creative behind the braided face-mask. His music can be described as experimental, bass heavy and over-saturated. His past ventures in EDM and trance-dubstep elements both contribute to the ‘Hundred Sins sound’. The Hungarian producer has been making music since he was 13. He often works with up-and-coming artists, getting them out of their comfort zone with his singular ideas.His single OYE, won the audience award for Best Music Video in 2019 in Hungary. His production features for rap artist Beton.Hofi in 2021 and 2022 went on to become top 10 streaming songs in the country. The producer’s live show, featuring a full band and mind-bending visuals debuted at headline club-shows and festivals all over the country in 2023 (including Sziget, Campus and Strand, Akvárium, A38). Hundred Sins’ debut LP OPERA was released in May 2022, and was well relieved by critics and audiences alike. The LP was nominated for “Best Electronic Recording” in March 2023, by the Hungarian Recording Academy and Hundred Sins was nominated for ‘Best Newcomer’. His sophomore release ‘Operett’ is a continuation of his previous LP in sentiment, featuring an array of interesting features and dark sounds. Beside the live-show, he is also active as a DJ, hosting his electronic party series C*NZÚRA. He also recently opened for Angerfist.

ROSE MAY

ROSE MAY started writing songs at the age of 12 and released her first single in 2020 (Life-Infected). She appeared on the Toldyuuso album titled ‘SESSION_01’ alongside artists like BÖBE, P.Y.F.U. and Brenka. Later she released her first self-produced album called ‘ROSE MAY’. In 2024 her song ‘Trojan War’ was selected as the Official Anthem of the Chess Olympiad 2024 Hungary.

Berlin Manson

Berlin Manson is a Slovak post-punk trio. In 2022, they released (as a duo Patrik Nagy - producer and guitarist, Adam Dragun lyricist and singer) their first significant single "Netancujem, kývem hlavou" where they defined their aesthetics and expression standing in the intersection of rap, punk, political commentary and irony. The Kapitál magazine wrote about them at the time, "Berlin Manson is proof of complete freedom of genre, production and attitude, without trying to conform to a pre-given image or to fit in." Shortly after that, they released their first EP called '’Život končí keď máš trinásť. They won 'Newcomer of the year' at Slovak national radio broadcaster awards. As a primarily live-performance-oriented band, they appeared at probably all significant Czech and Slovak festivals. In 2023, they brought in drummer Tomáš Tabiš (known from the band 52 Hertz Whale) and they shifted their set from an electronic neurotic party towards regular punk and rap aggression as they played over 60 shows that year. They were attacked by neo-Nazis, scattered a large number of copies of Mark Fisher's lyrics at the concerts and broke a few things on stage. In 2024, they performed in Kyiv, Ukraine and played a packed show at MENT Ljubljana showcase to very positive international reviews. They also won the 'Single of the Year' award for the track Hotel Kyiv, which was created in collaboration with electronic producer FVLCRVM. Subsequently, they presented their first album POOR BUT SEXY, working with concepts of the paradoxes of life in the Eastern European version of late capitalism. In addition to the unexpected collaborations with the names of the Slovak punk-trap scene, it also featured a less predictable track with Slovak alternative pop singer Katarzia.

Musspell

The harmony of the Musspell music project from Cluj-Napoca is melancholic, dream-pop style, featuring northern motifs. A characteristic of their world is that the female vocal lines intertwine, sometimes resonating together, sometimes emphasizing each other. They seek a natural, ethereal sound for self-expression. They realize their musical concept with electronic instrumentation, where synth sounds accompany the guitar, keyboard and live drums.
