Psychedelic spiced space-funk rock, YeuX (pronounced ‘Zyeu(r)’) is a new outfit from Budapest, Hungary. Since the band’s live debut in May 2022, the band has already hit the Budapest music scene supporting international acts including: Dirty Sound Magnet (Switzerland), VR SEX (USA), Tortuga (PL), The Ballet Bombs (NL), Khan (AUS) and played venues such as A38, Robot, Turbina, Három Holló, RIFF and others. The dynamic band features an array of Hungarian and International musicians including Lancelot Chartier (The Serial Chillers, Tibi and The Otters), Tibor Gede (AlithiA/AUS, Dennie Wander/UK), Zoltán Semegi (Náiv with Kiss Endre, brother of Kiss Tibi from Quimby) and Zsófia Kovács (Arif Erdem Ocak Project). Having spent the past 12 months in the rehearsal room writing new material, YeuX have recently recorded their debut album with producer Weil András (The Qualitons, Odd ID, Ivan and the Parazol, Kistehén) in a remote location in the Mátra mountains of Northern Hungary surrounded by forestry and mountain views. Geared with a new album due for release in the first half of 2023, set your ears and booty for the vibrations of YeuX’s Blade Runner-esque synthersizers, swirling psychedelic, funky guitars and progressive rock.
