Analog Balaton is the Budapest-based duo of Aba Zsuffa and Ákos Vörös, founded in 2017. Known as one of Hungary’s most exciting contemporary acts, they have shared the stage with international names such as Bonobo, Weval, and Bob Moses. Their music blends guitar with dark, pulsating electronic textures, creating a sound that is both hypnotic and emotionally charged.

Even before releasing any recorded material, they were already selling out live shows across the country—a testament to the raw energy and atmosphere of their performances. Their 2021 debut album Lent captured this essence with nine tracks that balance monotone, improvisational electronics with sharp, text-driven storytelling. The record, evoking nights unraveling into hazy mornings and moments of lonely reflection, struck a chord with audiences and critics alike, selling out major venues such as Akvárium and A38.

Since then, Analog Balaton has become a staple of Hungary’s music scene. They followed Lent with the single Csússz le in 2022, collaborating with artists like Csaba Szendrői (Elefánt) and 6363 (Gege), and the same year won the Petőfi Music Award for Electronic Artist of the Year. Their relentless rise continued with nationwide tours, festival appearances, sold-out headline shows—including Budapest Park and double nights at Akvárium—and further recognition with the Music Hungary Showtime Award. In 2023, they released their second album Repedés, introduced with a packed show at Barba Negra, and closed the year with two sold-out concerts at the House of Hungarian Music. With 2025 promising performances at the country’s biggest festivals and venues, the duo continues to expand their sound while keeping the emotional intensity and captivating energy that define Analog Balaton.
