The coolest acts of the future at BUSH 2019
Budapest Showcase Hub a.k.a BUSH, the hottest club festival in the Winter, will be back from November 13th to 15th, with the trendiest acts of the Eastern European region performing in Budapest’s most popular nightclubs & venues. The three-day ‘musical mind-bending’ showcase will feature 35 performers from the Eastern Bloc and (this year’s guest country) Austria. Most of them play in front of hundreds or even thousands in their home countries and are already well-known by famous international music pros, so you can watch emerging acts who will soon be performing at major international festivals. The fourth edition of BuSH  will take place at even more iconic downtown venues than before, such as LÄRM, Fogasház/ Instant, A38, Beat on the Brat, Robot, Toldi, ELLÁTÓház and many more. As in previous years, the organizers considered it important that all venues could be easily visited, even during the evening, and participants could take part in a club tour where they could swap their ‘standing-in-front-of-a-club’ experiences to real gig experiences. Instead of expensive entry, exhausting taxis home, and waking up hungover in tents, for a single ticket, everyone can go on a full musical trip and wake up the next day in the comfort of their own bed. As every year, the selection of quality music was again made with the help of the most important music industry professionals of the region. This year BuSH organizers, interviewed 700 music pros from 14 countries to find out who is the most remarkable, up-to-date, exciting new performers in their countries. At The Grand Opening on 13 November, the Hungarian band Trillion and the Austrian band Mother’s Cake will perform at the legendary A38 Ship. The latter, a psychedelic and funk-infused rock trio who previously performed with bands like Dream Theater, Limp Bizkit, Tito & Tarantula and Velvet Revolver and are a real showcase professionals (TGE, ESNS, Waves Vienna, etc) A real BuSH delicacy from the already outstanding lineup is Perfect Son from Poland. Tobias Bilińsk, a melancholic synth-popper with industrial electronics, is the newest member of the Pitch & Smith stable, responsible for booking Caribou, Son Lux, José Gonzales and many more. The ethereal songs of the melancholic emotional songwriter were already noted at SXSW Festival by the iconic former Nirvana label, Sub Pop and signed as the first ever Eastern European artist. BUSH also presents Estonia?s P.J. Harvey-like magical diva known as, Anna Kaneelina, whose minimalist sound is remarkable. Anna also often plays music with her husband, Erki Parnoja (guitarist at Ewert and The Two Dragons), a super talented performer who has played at MÜPA (Palace of Arts in Budapest) and at BuSH last year. A major discovery from Lithuania is junior a. A new generation and YouTube star in his home of Vilnius. The lo-fi electro-pop artist has been dealing with electronic music since 2015, as he started this musical journey after a street fight and resulting coma. The young musician recovered in a hospital and remembered nothing of his earlier life. He used his six months in bed, to become acquainted with electronics and in just a few months he has written 60 songs, which he now performs at sold-out shows. These and more than 30 concerts are available for true music lovers. What’s more, with a purchase of a limited edition early bird ticket for just 1200HUF(4EUR), you can see live performers who will be recognized by the crowds on big international music blogs next year. This is your chance to catch them before.
