Olga studied jazz piano in Bill Evans academy in Paris where she was lucky to be trained by Philipp Baden Powell, son of Brazilian guitar player and composer Baden Powell. She drew inspiration from warm Brazilian mood in Mojno track. In 2017 Omma was selected for the acclaimed Onebeat residency where she collaborated with 25 musicians from 17 countries to compose music for the Koyaanisqatsi movie. Together they performed in different U.S. cities including Denver and New York. During her residency OMMA was practicing the Soundpainting technique which she is now applying in her shows, conducting the orchestra in unusual ways to create electro-acoustic improvisations. Back in Moscow Olga has been a resident artist in Powerhouse Moscow. As a DJ and a night curator of Plavay bass-house juke parties bringing together international artists such as Neue Grafik, IMYRMIND, 123mrk, Dream Koala, Domenique Dumont and Jo_Def Outside of performing and recording OMMA is busy with the tech-project Playtronica that turns everyday objects into musical instruments. Playing live on 16 pineapples, recording music for sound installations, doing solo synesthetic exhibitions for Centre Pompidou, Palais de Tokyo, Fondation Louis Vuitton, National School of Fine Arts, Garage Museum and other cultural institutions around the world.
