At the beginning, Stray Dogg was Dukat Stray, playing his songs on acoustic guitar and harp. In March 2011 he selfreleased now hard to find Demo EP, recorded at home on Skype microphone. When Ana Janković on violin, Jelena Damjanović on piano and Marko Ignjatović on guitar joined him just before the recording of the first album, Stray Dogg became a band. First two gigs were as supporting act for Chinawoman and Scout Nibblett in spring 2011. 30th of May the same year, the first album “Almost” was released on Bandcamp. Official singles from the album were “Almost” and “Smile”. Two sold-out gigs at DOB, Belgrade in November 2011 and in April 2012 and many appearances on concerts and festivals in the region have increased a hype already surrounding the band. In August 2012 Stray Dogg released a video with new song from the second album “Fire’s Never Wrong”. The second album is released on Bandcamp, 22nd of October 2012, with Vlada Milićević on bass and Uroš Milkić on drums on some tracks. It was recorded in Digimedia Studio in Belgrade, produced by Boris Mladenović, with the guest appearance of Devendra Banhart sharing vocals with Dukat on one track.
