Tolstoys

Kuplung

Tolstoys is a young dreampop quintet based in Slovakia’s capital city Bratislava that formed in 2016 around singer – songwriter Ela Tolstova. The band delivers maturely but still innocently sounding dreampop with elements of acoustic music, electronic textures and delicate vocals. The two singles Right Choice and Agapé have been making big waves on the Slovak indie scene and their long awaited debut album Botanika was released just this October on Slnko Records. In the summer of 2017 the band played Slovakia's most prestigious festivals: Pohoda and Grape and recently they also performed at Waves Vienna and Nouvelle Prague, are confirmed to play BUSH (Budapest Showcase Festival) in November and many more festivals are just about to be announced. Tolstoys were opening for Lola Marsh at two concerts this October at Pohoda Parties in Bratislava and Košice and are currently on tour to support the release of Botanika. Word it that there is much more to be heard from this emerging band in the upcoming years. Tolstoys are Ela Tolstova (singer-songwriter), Frederika Camastra (violin), Matej Herceg (drums), Pavol Rehák (keys) and Michal Smetana (bass)..
